I am not impressed with the CHP office in Placerville. They are not polite nor are they willing to do their job and make copies of paperwork regarding vehicles we own. I support law-enforcement 100% as I was a firefighter for many years I have a lot respect for the officers but their office is not up to speed. To the portly man that was so rude today, you make CHV look bad just so you know even though the officers are good your behavior today puts a bad taste in my mouth and I’m sure others have the same opinion.

What justified the fatal shooting of a car chase suspect today on Highway 49 in Placer County? Why couldn't tack strips or shooting out the tires have been sufficient?

There haven't been any public statements made yet but I'm assuming it's because the suspect was driving a 2 ton assault weapon that kills more people annually than firearms.
