Good Afternoon Ms. Gromer, I am in receipt of your message dated this date. We have a legal aid attorney that assists patrons with landlord/tenant issues on Tuesdays and Fridays. He is at the Law Library from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm which are also our open hours. You may come in and ask him your questions on either day. Please be advised this is a first come first serve walk in clinic only (no phone calls) and if you wait until either 11:30 or 2:30 you might be turned away because of a line of patrons waiting to see the attorney ahead of you. How can I help my son who was wrongfully convicted and never shown evidence they supposedly had against him. Also new evidence has come out on the people who committed the crime

I am in receipt of your request for information regarding a criminal matter. Please be advised our legal aid attorney does not discuss any criminal law issues. You can come into the law library and look through our books on criminal law to see if there is something there that can assist you. Since I am not an attorney I cannot give you any legal advise or answer any legal questions so you must know what you are looking for. Have you tried contacting his previous attorney? That might be another source to reference. As a third source for information you can call the Legal Services of Northern California at 530-823-7560. to see if they can assist you. I wish you luck getting the answers you seek. Cathy McMillan Administrator El Dorado County Law Library 550 Main Street, Suite A Placerville, CA 95667 (530) 626-1932
