The very incompetent office staff do not know how to give correct information I am looking for a mass for a quinceañera since December 2021 calling and month after month they told me to speak next month we do not have the agenda they are going to change the father and finally they have a priest and I come with my papers and it turns out that I had to set aside 6 months before and how? They are not supposed to have an agenda and there is already a wedding for the date I requested. I was so frustrated and disappointed 😒

I love this church. It's very convenient to get in and out of if you have any mobility issues. In the foyer of the church there is a long bench and several chairs but, for reconciliation I would recommend getting there exceptionally early because you may be standing a long time if you don't.

On January 11, 1918, Bishop Thomas Grace purchased property on Grove Street in Elk Grove for a new Catholic Church. The church, dedicated to St. Joseph, was completed the same year and blessed by Bishop Thomas Grace. Priests of other parishes donated the altar, original organ, and a stained glass window of St. Joseph. The window was restored in 1985 and is now placed in the new church. After forty-two years as a mission of Galt, St. Joseph became a Parish in 1962. In December of 1972, Fr. John McDonnell announced the sale of the old church and plans to build a new church on Elk Grove-Florin Road across from Elk Grove Park. Bishop Bell dedicated the new church in 1973. A mission was established in Rancho Murieta in 1987, and in 1999 a church was constructed for three hundred active families.
There was a 6pm vigil mass today and there are two masses tomorrow
