Staff is rude and don’t keep up with the rules. We spent a week there from a Friday 7/22 to Friday 7/22 and from Sunday to Friday was a nightmare and it was the most horrible experience of my life. My kids got hurt on the water slides and they would not fix it. Had complaints about our neighbors. Called after hours number and nothing was done. Then manger who my husband called said she had no clue about it but it is funny we talked to her when we called. They don’t I force their rules and let people do whatever they want. Then went to the office and complain and the one staff wasn’t very nice, laughter at my Kids when o said I wanted to speak with someone higher then her. Then she proceeded to say she is tired of hearing it, if that the case then INFORCE ur rules and then u won’t have an issues and have to listen to it. Place is ridiculous. DO NOT STAY HERE.

I have been coming here this is my 3rd year here and the past two years I’ve loved it. This year I loved it too but the water at the showers makes my hair very hard and greasy. And the water that had come out of my spicket was orange. I love it here but for staying a week it’s hard to get over the fact I can’t even brush my hair. I still love it lots though.

My daughter stayed here we just visited. There was lots to do for kids. They have cabins. Swimming pool with slides. All sorts of rental equipment. They are however packed in pretty tight which is why we don't have a camper.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to experience Splash Magic Campground like we had planned for months. We booked in the beginning of March and spoke personally with the owner to make sure we had the best fit for our family with 4 little ones. We were very excited and have been getting the kids excited about this for months. We even picked a specific weekend based on the Activities they had planned. We found out last week that Splash Magic was sold in April to new owners so I called to make sure we were still good for our reservation. This time, I had to call through the call center because they said there was an issue with the phone lines. The lady I spoke with at RJourney was very nice, looked up our account, and assured us that our reservation was still good (in the site we chose) and that there was no need to worry. Fast forward to today.... I get a phone call (voicemail) telling me that we are being moved to a new camp site, nowhere near where we picked originally, and that we had no other option. I called back to find out what was going on and they told me that there was a "glitch" on the online booking system (we didn't book online) and our spot was double booked. I told the woman that we in fact did not book online and that we spoke directly with the owner back in March to get the spot we had. She argued with me that the "owner doesn't answer the phone" and basically called me a liar. I told her it was the old owner and she still argued. She was unable to see when I booked but when I questioned why the people that booked after us were able to get our site, she responded with "they booked in January" When I said that we would just cancel our reservation then, we were offered a different site that, when we looked at the map, is on the main road surrounded by main buildings, bathrooms, etc. Unfortunately due to all of this, we are choosing to cancel our reservation & find somewhere else to go. We would have really loved to experience Splash Magic Campground but due to the terrible customer service (not from RJourney) and the fact that we were just moved to another site and told to deal with it, we will not be camping here.

We have some pet friendly cabins. If you are renting a cabin, be sure to let us know you have a pet so we can give you the proper cabin. If you have your own camper, you may bring your pet. Your pet must not be aggressive and cannot be barking or growling at children as they pass by your site. Your pet must be on a leash and you must clean up after your pet.

I wouldnt bring political views into someone else's property. Just go and have a good time without bringing politics into every aspect of your life. Step away from the world and enjoy the site and grounds.
Sites are $70.00 per night and cabins range in price from $152.00 to $235.00 per night for 4 people. Weekday prices are less.
You may not come on any weekend. Outside guests are allowed Monday thru Thursday. Guest fees are $16.00 per person plus tax and include use of swimming pools, water slides and splash park. Activity wrist bands for golf, jump pillow, bumper boats and paddle boats are $20.00 and bike rentals are $10.00 per day plus tax.
There are photos and a 3D tour of a cozy cabin on our website. We have a total of 4 cozy cabins and they are all exactly the same so the photos you see are what your cabin will look like.

The lake is catch and release. But if u catch it in the river there u can do what u want with it.

Swimming is not allowed in the lake. We have too many people fishing and also boating on the lake so their is no room for large floatables. Insurance also does not allow us to use the lake for swimming.

If you are here on a package deal, the wrist bands are $12.72 including tax for your stay. If you are purchasing a daily band and not on the package deal, the activity bands are $14.84 per day including tax.

I suggest mountian bikes. The whole campground is perfect for bike riding
small personal inflatables like tubes and noodles are allowed. Large rafts and similar items are not.
The wrist band includes everything. All paid activities except for ceramics, food at the snack bar and store items. Wrist bands include bike rentals, bumper boats, paddle boats, aqua trikes, miniature golf and jumping pillow unlimited. The swimming pools, splash park and water slides are included with your camping fee and do not require a wrist band.
We get 22 channels. They are the networks ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, a couple of cartoon stations, USA, Discovery and a few public stations.

Smoking is no longer allowed at the pool area. there are several large banners posted which say no smoking and we have removed the ash trays. We announce that smoking is not allowed and we ask that, if you have to smoke, you go out under the pavilion.

The official answer is absolutely not. We are a family oriented campground and this sort of behavior is not permitted at any time when the campground is open to families. Once a year, we close for a private motorcycle event. It runs for the first 10 days of June. If you own a motorcycle and reserve as part of this group, there are certain liberties that these bikers take at the pool and some people might be in various stages of undress. It is only allowed at the pool area which is covered by fabric over the pool fence so you cannot see anything from outside the fence. There are no children on the campground during this private event and no one from the outside may camp here during that event unless you are part of the group. This policy does not spill over into the family camping for the rest of the season and nudity is not allowed at any time during the regular season.
