Very very poor wait times no matter what time of day unlike what folks try and tell you. Very frustrating for families in need
summer netzel
Let me just say WOW… The lady I was on the phone with was rude! Her name is Vanessa. Just by her answering the phone she had an attitude from the start. I Woke up early to call at 8am then had to sit on hold for an 1 and 40 minutes… She asked me if I had a problem and I told her, she made a smart a** comment. Im very upset with how it went and wish that people who works there were more considering.

My daughter has been on hold for three hours. She received a letter about her benefits being reviewed due to a temporary job as a trainee through her GED program. She has no money for food. Why does it take so long for someone to get to the calls? Why can't her EBT benefits last through her program? This is stressful for her.

They put you on hold for 30 minutes to be transferred to a freaking operator and then after being transferred says greater than 120 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous just connect to an agent and get rid of the new operator it's such a long wait and you can't go in the facility. They need to fix this. They have enough employees to not have their clients on hold for 3 hours at a time!!!!!!!

I actually like that music lol. Anyway you can also call the Kelso, wa. number it's all the same she it might be quicker. You can also go in if that's an option, you really don't have much of a wait. The Vancouver dshs is clean and the staff are very nice. I hope I was a help to your issue.
There is a financial assistance form for DMV. It's located at https://www.dol.wa.gov/forms or just google Washington DMV financial assistance and in the results is the pdf to download.
You can check your benefits online @ https://www.washingtonconnection.org/home/
must have mailing address for replacement, if it's first time issuance of a new card, you can pick it up at your local Community Services Office, call 1 800 501 2233 for all info/help.
The 800# on the an of your assistance card is the main number to call.
Roses how can you be on disability and have zero income. Do you receive ssi or ssdi?
Yes
You can come into the DSHS office and on the first floor from around 10a-4p there is a table for helping low income get healthcare during the weekday. You can also go online to Apple health and sign up too.
You'll need to come in and speak with that agency.
A change ofof address form is free
No, you need to contact the unemployment office
Its probably been 6 months and you're due for a review. Your EBT will not load again until you review.
I didn't have to have an ID to get a voucher, I just had to cancel my SNAP benefits for Oregon and apply for Washington State. Also, you need a letter from Oregon proving that you canceled your SNAP benefits and that you no longer with be receiving benefits from Oregon.
