Honestly, we're disappointed with the way things ended. We lived there for 3 years, payed our rent on time, we felt like we were pretty good tenants. Fast forward to the past year when we started house hunting and we reached out to the leasing office about the possibility of canceling our lease early or going month to month in the event we found something and had to move. After some back and forth, ultimately those options weren't possible and we felt tensions were high after that. Any communication with the office from that point forth, we felt like we were "those tenants" and were more of a burden than a part of the community. At the end we moved out, spent a week cleaning hoping to get as much of our security deposit back to put into our house fund, only to get less than 1/3 of it back. The apartment itself was beautiful and we enjoyed our time there, but the management could have been better and like other people have said, don't expect your security deposit back.
