Not that good. The girl at check out was rude. She bagged our groceries with one hand holding the store coupons my husband gave her in the other, with our bread getting tossed in bag with a box of honey buns! She was just rude and gave the impression she didn't want to be there making a paycheck! I am a former employee of Food Lion. Update.. I have noticed a change with friendly employees.. Yes there is always that one or maybe two, but for the most part Everyone is helpful and patient and friendly...

Most times I go to this store the staff is pretty friendly.. Today was not one of those days. I dont mind NOT being spoken to by a cashier, but it rubs me the wrong way when literally every customer is greeted and asked for their MVP card except for me. Definitely not a race issue. I am a black man and the cashier was a black woman.. Whomever she is, she needs training on treating every customer alike no matter race, ethnicity, or gender.. cashier 0131
