La Carreta is a local favorite for a reason! From childhood to adulthood, LaCa has been in heavy regular rotation for me...and many others! While I no longer live in the area, when I come into town I always make sure to eat at one of the establishments in Amherst or Lynchburg. The food is delicious, service is speedy and the prices reasonable. Definitely worth a visit if your in the mood :)

The food was good, drinks were also good. Wish the booth they gave us was a table for the party of 7 we were. Server was not very attentive but food was tasty.

I eat here occasionally with my husband for lunch and everytime the food is delicious, seasoned well, the staff are friendly and pricing is reasonable.

Nothing authentic about it! The waiter barely understood English, so didn't get corn tacos. Manager said that there were other places to go. They have new people managing the place and it definitely has went down hill, unless you Love white cheese on everything. Will never be going back! As I was told there are other places.
