My brother was sent to this clinic from the hospital and they held him there against his will, HE WAS BEAT IN HIS SLEEP, some patient got out of his room and walked into my brothers room and beat him in the middle of the night, my whole family tried to get him out they wouldn’t let him go home, He was just released this morning after we filled an actual police report, these are pictures of his injuries, no supervision, no cameras, he couldn’t call 911 from their phone box at the clinic

It's decent, it's big. There's 2 placements..the holding area(which is smaller)& the area that you transition to for a longer hold to stay at or whatnot. Lol, I remembered watching the wall as if it was like watching paint dry type boredom in the room I shared with 2 other females. There's the tv area & alot of seatings etc. They make accommodations if you don't eat certain foods or liquids. Which is good, since I don't eat pork or fish/seafood. Things I remembered being in there in 2017...There's patio time, art time, karaoke time(which I sang Nirvana & Aaliyah as my choices, lol), plus things to do to help u get discharged quicker etc..meal time & snack time is always something to look forward too, when I didn't had much to do. Lots of crazies or er patients are there, but u do meet nice & cool ones & workers too. Laundry time would be done by the workers there, shower time is limited I think..u have to tell them u wanna go shower & they will open one for u to use at certain times I think etc, plus they have closed bathroom stalls connected to each other for patients to use etc in the mid or so area, idk..also wished they would tell the time aloud sometimes, when going around the to each patients rooms. Cuz I was going crazy thinking it was hours ahead..only to realize it was 3 hours back, cuz it's hecka slow in days moving but hectic being in there. Sometimes I would call my sister's on the phones they had for us patients to use. My social worker was no help though, have to admit..he kept saying he will try or tell me an excuse & all I wanted to do was get the hell out of there & be free, lol. He forgot or didn't schedule my hearing one Thursday time & I was still there for a couple of days after that..until I called my aunt & the workers by the desk for help or something to get permission to get released soon & got my wish, lol. But u gotta make sure, u have a place & support to acknowledge the discharge..is what I learned in being in 6 mental facilities altogether in different times for my mental illness I was diagnosed with of schizophrenia. I was in there for 2 weeks-ish at this place. Will always remember my experience there & it helped me get over my social anxiety & shyness abit..cuz it made me realize I'm not the only crazy person here but actually less so than others, lol. But I am doing better now & have a part-time job cuz I still have SSI..so can't go back to full-time until I transition out of my SSI benefits in the future. But have to admit, the medication didn't make me better, it actually did the opposite. So I had to stop using them & when I did..the horrible side effects disappeared. Hmmm. But I would like to acknowledge one worker..he is an old white skinny or slim man, who checked my blood pressure at times or whatnot & said I was his favorite or something, lol..I appreciate him saying that about me & the kindness he had towards me. But there was one mid-thirties or so worker, male & white..who was flirting with one of the white patients or atleast acting super duper nice to her, cuz she was pretty & was acting like she was sad & privileged. Lol I was glad that the cool black chick called her out on her act, lol. But whatchu gonna do..pretty always have it easier, smh. What I do remembered, was I was waiting by the counter afterwards..to ask for a pair of new underwear, cuz I was about to shower soon & discharged from the holding area & he changed his niceness & became meh towards me..just cuz I wasn't pretty & etc. Which I didn't like. But yup that's my experience that I can muster into a review for ya. Hope it helps! Peace!

Took my kids mom here they diagnosed her as having manic depressive disorder and schizophrenia gave her meds that she had every side effect in the book and refused to change it then they finally did only to find out after all of this they were giving her meds and treating her for disorders she didn't even have not to mention ignoring that the treatment was exacerbating the issue
