used to go here w/ my family when I was little and I was so sad when it closed. but now that barter theater does plays there,Im very happy to see this place in use again.i loved watching barter from the comfort of your own car or sitting outside being able to enjoy fresh air.i love the idea of having barter here.best idea in my opinion

Barter does an excellent job with each and every show there. We have been to four separate plays and have thoroughly enjoyed and been impressed by the performance and the ability they have displayed in every situation.

Right now (8-30-20), the Barter Theater is using the drive in for its shows.
At dark. Last night started at 8:39 p.m. Parking starts at 8 p.m.
No there is one in Marion Virginia but I do not know the name of it
It rained when I went and everything went flawlessly. The stage is sheltered and the FM broadcast worked perfectly.
I'm not sure that they're playing movies. They've been working with the Barter Theater to show plays without intermission. They just finished The Wizard of Oz, and they will be showing Beauty and the Beast from Aug. 13-29 and Mary Poppins from Sept 3-19.
