I went in to ask for advice in navigating VA new system. They were very helpful and answered all my questions in a friendly manner. They're not set up yet for full legalization so if you're not a patient you can't get in yet. I will post more about them as I go. As is it's a clean, easy to find, nice place. Plenty of parking and kind people.

My order was ready when I arrived. The girl at the front check-in was nice. When I went they only had two registers open, but I was served quickly and my online order was ready. The location is beautiful and they should think about adding outdoor seating with food.

Yea I went there and it seemed very scam like. Everything was abandoned and only a few cars at Dharma. Security was over the top and made me feel scared and not wanted. They were sold out of everything because they had a "soft opening" for family and friends while REAL patients havr to suffer. Prices are way to expensive and not strong at all

Yep VA is looking like you won't be able to buy recreational until 2024. Thats when it was supposed to be legal in the 1st place but enough people spoke up and VA decided to legalize it in 2021 but there is still debate on how to sell it. So yes you still need a medical card...

August 1st is NOT the correct answer. As of today they are opening "mid August" - However to become a patient you need to fill out the "become a patient" link on their website and then they will contact you by phone. They do not e-mail you to confirm the form was submitted so I ended up calling today to make sure they got it.
Took me a while to figure this out. Here's the steps. Step 1: find a registered practitioner. Go to this website and select option 2 to find a full list: https://www.vanorml.org/doctors Step 2: Make sure your registered practitioner fills in the form called "Certification for the use of cannibidiol oil or THC-A oil". They should already have this form provided to them by the state. I had to specifically ask my doctor to fill it in. Step 3: go to this website: https://www.dhp.virginia.gov/pharmacy/PharmaceuticalProcessing/Patients.htm they have a step by step guide of how to complete the registration process: https://www.dhp.virginia.gov/pharmacy/PharmaceuticalProcessing/docs/HowToPatientRegistration.pdf Step 4: once your card arrives in the mail go to the dharma pharmecueticals webpage and click "become a patient" and fill in the information.
