Today was my first visit to Downs Dental, and I must say I am very satisfied with the professionalism of the entire staff and Dr. Downs. The exam was very thorough and the Dr. explained to me what areas needed attention and how to go about correcting the problems. The office is very clean, which is very important to me. Thanks to the Downs TEAM!

Beware - my 20 year old daughter who is covered under my insurance came here for her annual preventative care exam and was charged $176.00 for her visit. I called my insurance and she is allowed 2 yearly preventative care visits including X-rays that are both covered by insurance at 100% even out of network dentists are covered by my insurance at 100% for preventative care exams and X-rays. She was unaware Dr Downs is out of network because it says on his online profile he accepts Aetna - but Aetna confirmed yesterday on phone he is out of network and also confirmed we are covered at 100% despite being out of network. Dr Downs’ office called this morning to schedule a cleaning for her which they were going to charge $140.00 (also preventative care covered at 100%) because they want to steal more money. Sad !!
