Everyone said this place was great and it exceeded my expectations. My only complaint is that the benches stop at about mile 4. I have to rest after 40 minutes of walking. I just sat in the grass. Other than that this place is gorgeous and great for walking. I don't fish, but many people do that here. I've been during the week and on the weekend. Never crowded. My dog gives it 5 stars too. I visited the first time in April 2022. UPDATE: There is another bench at the 9 mile marker. Right under the interstate. Very loud, bad view, but good for resting if you need it.

Nice trail, well maintained. There is an area to drop off a smaller sized boat. You can't fish off the pier, but there is a nice grass area you can sit in. Friendly people.
