I never have a bad experience here. The librarians answer any crazy questions I have lol. It's clean and quiet

The librarian was training a new librarian so it was not quiet and that was fine because there was like four total people in there. I owe hella back fines so I lied and said I didn't have my card and they just printed me out a slip and I used the computer to print out my shipping label and I was on my way. Very convenient, thanks librarian and librarian in training. Y'all the shining stars 🌠

We love this library! The librarians are super nice and they have a large children's book section. The have events and free give aways for children every month (check their events page). My 2yo daughter loves to visit often and has a blast picking out books and coloring at the kids table.

It is a great library with a good selection and tons of cozy places to sit and read.

Questions & Answers

How can I donate books to the library

Hello, I work at the library. You can donate books to the Friends of the Library Bookstore, right next door to the Dixon Library. They are open Wed 11-2, Thurs 2-6, Fri 12-3, and Sat 12-3. Please keep in mind books must be in good condition, have no stains or smells, and textbooks/encyclopedias are not accepted.

How can I go about inquiring about a library card? And is the library open right now or curbside?

You can call them at 678-5447 or go to their website. Everyone is very friendly there and would be more than happy to help you.
