Cool place. Runs clockwise which isn't too common which is nice. Much better atmosphere and vibe than Wake Island, workers and riders are all friendly. Food is amazing (especially the pizza).

My daughter and friends had a bridal shower girls' fun day. It nearly ended in disaster. The handles for getting out of the water are in a logistically unhelpful place for adults who cannot 'hop out of the water' like a 12 year old. One of the ladies slipped off of the platforms and even though she called for help, no one could see her because the platform was higher than the length of her her arms. She nearly had a panic attack, then calmed herself and did what the staff told her not to: swam under the platform to emerge on the outside. It was her only option. She said that the life guards were not 'on the ball'. She was about 20 minutes behind the rest of her group. No one thought to see if she was ok. We have grand children, and we will be avoiding this park.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities are top notch, rental equipment far exceeded the quality I expected. Food was far better than what you would expect from a place like this. The bar had lots of beer variety. Thank you velocity island park. I will be coming back and bringing friends. 11/10 would recommend

Hi Marisol! Yes, we have Stand Up Paddle Boarding available by booking in advance on weekend mornings, Saturday-Sunday, 8AM-11AM through August.
