Worst Awful customer service by store associate-Janet!!! Was at the store looking for a scarf that I saw online and was available in store, so I asked this old woman a jcp employee named Janet a store associate/ cashier at jcp and she was just rude insulting and had no customer service etiquette and she has worked here for 10 years !! Totally unprofessional and unprovoked uncalled for behavior on her end !! She said should all of us stop what we are doing and go look for your scarf she was beyond rude and incase she wasn’t aware her job is to help customers out! Just rude and most impolite & unprofessional woman! Bad experience at this location camp hill capital city mall! I tried to contact the store manager Mike but couldn’t get a hold of him. Just shows jcp standards have fallen due to having mannerless staff like Janet on the floor! The other associates around were more apologetic due to her rudeness Jcp needs to correct their employees such rude behavior is not tolerated

The sales clerks were very friendly. I bought soft towels in beautiful colors for a great price!!!

Their suit selection isn't great. When we took a suit to the counter to pay, the lines (or lack thereof) was really confusing. Then the suit rang up for full price when it was supposed to be 30% off. When we told the cashier, he just said that's not how it rang up. Our response was, "that's why we told you it's wrong." Another cashier overheard and told him to go to a price check. He came back saying that it's not on sale. We were confident we were right. Another cashier overheard and said would you like me to go back with you and check. So we walk back pointed right to the sign that described the suit in detail and showed it was in fact on sale. We got no apology at all they just went back up and rang up the jacket at the sale price but not the pants. Then we had to explain to them the sign clearly stated it was for both. They finally took off the 30% on the pants also. Once again no apology. We won't be coming back here.

Strange checkout experience the last 2 times I was there. First time an employee was complaining to another employee, took a long time to take us to checkout. Second time a man was behind the register and was fairly annoyed that I was returning an item to my card and purchasing another with cash. It very difficult to understand what he was saying overall. Inventory here also seems to be quite low.
