Community Aid is always super. You can find brand new items and other like-new items very reasonably priced.

Over the years, a lot of good stuff have been bought at this business!! 😅 The store has always had a good appearance, a lot to look at & fair prices!! 👍🏼👍🏻

Absolutely love this place. Sometimes you have to go several times to find your size, but you can always find something good. I moved an hour away a few years ago and still come here because it easily beats any of the thrift stores in my own area. Their donations aren't shady like other companies, either. I only donate to them when I'm getting rid of clothes since I think they'll legitimately do the most good with any donations. From what I understand, they even pay their employees pretty well.

I have always found barely used and sometimes brand new items with mfg tags still attached. You need to take time to go through the racks. Staff is always pleasant and helpful. We should purchased used clothing as often as possible to keep from contributing to the world's waste problems.

Yes - Tuesday is Senior day and Wednesday is family day both 50 % off

No
Yes
Several charities..they list them at the store...
No, I did not see it either.
I'm sure they would, as long as they work.
You have to wear a mask
I have been at community aid many times in Mechanicsburg but have not seen lamps. They have limited room for furniture and lamps. I havent checked lately but Salvation Army has a much larger footprint in Mechanicsburg and they usually have furniture in the back of the store. I would imagine they might also have lamps but have never looked. I dont know where you live but I have a living room lamp I am giving away. Burgundy and gold colored lightweight base with a beige shade. It is in storage so no picture. Just one.
Yes
They're open. Normal hours I believe. You must wear a face mask though.
Daily, except Sunday
Salvation Army will pick up your furniture.... they are a restricted operational schedule...so it may take them time.
Hi Bonnie, Tuesday's discount is 50% off for age 55 and up. (It does not combine with any other discount.) Happy shopping!!
No
Yes
They take just about anything, but I don't know if they deliver
Do not know him
No. Tuesdays for senior citizens 55+ years old. Wednesday is family day 50% off on everything with the exception of red tags.
Yes
Yes. Selection and sizes will vary depending on donations.
Dont know what you mean.
Yes
The dollar sale starts on Thursday February 7 till Sunday February 10
Drop donations at store or at one of the hundreds of bins all throughout central pa
Great ideal. But no.😉
This is Shannon. I'm a Google guide responding to your question. Their store hours are 11-6 Sundays. As long as their open they'll take your donations.
Well that still doesn't explain why their shelves are almost empty. I think they are not capable of processing the goods fast enough due to employee issues.
Having volunteered at Thrift Stores, I know they don't always place all the donated items on the shelves. Some things are too badly damaged, cracked, etc. for them to be useful. Also, Community Aid tends to be more clothing. If you're looking for housewares, you might want to try the Goodwill in the shopping center across the street.
different stuff every day. lots of mens shoes. maybe 100 pairs? 8.5 is a popular size in my shopping experience. i am sz 11. they have donated used stuff. But also some new shoes donated by a nearby company.
We went to Community Aid & Good Will on Saturday. Not a piece if corelle to be found either place. I'm thinking they are as scarce as Jen's teeth. Thanks!!
Thanks for you 4 stars when white !!
They do take furniture but not couches. Salvation Army takes couches. They do not pick up.
Tuesdays and Wednesday
I don't think so, I've never seen anything like that there
Tuesday is Senior citizens discount day but also on Wednesdays there is also a day of 50% discounts on certain color tags.
Yes they do.
Anytime the store is open. They do have drop off boxes out front for clothes.
They have drop boxes and the also all open store hours they except drop offs at side drop point.
Community aid is closed today but will reopen Tuesday
Everything they sell is based on donations. If you're looking to sell a used fur coat, try a consignment shop.
Yes
