The staff was bad. One of the nurses flipped off my relative and kicked his bed. She wouldn’t give him his medicine. He was afraid to sleep at night. A nurses aide finally gave it to him. He died while in their care.

My Grandfather was here. He loved the staff and was comfortable there. However, he recently died in their care. He was sick and my mother couldn't get ahold of the nurse and ended up having to call his case worker to get him help. He had an episode and they asked my mom if she wanted them to take him to the hospital. If they had cared for him when he was sick and maybe gotten him help sooner he would probably have lived. He had a staph infection in his blood stream and pneumonia and again if they had paid attention and cared for him we wouldn't be going to his funeral this weekend.

I can’t say enough positive things about the VA Home. My dad was cared for and loved on by the staff. Hazel, in the Cove, was my absolute favorite. I highly recommend this facility!

Wonderful staff. They keep great care of the residents, making them feel comfortable and well loved. They can keep the residents entertained by letting them go on "field trips" Or letting them watch singers and dance. They also have many board games and puzzles. They can attend to almost any type of medical need. My loved one has lived there for almost 5 years. He says he loves it there and will want to continue to live there. Would 10/10 recommend letting your loved ones to go to.
