The experience here was good - not blow your socks off, but solid. I don’t think you’d be disappointed coming here! The food itself was cooked well, the portions were large, and overall I enjoyed it. However we felt that the pork chops were missing oomph - some sort of sauce would dramatically improve the quality of the dish - the broccoli was amazing! The service was very prompt and the servers were extremely friendly! Overall somewhere between 4 - 5 stars.

We ordered three entrees… the meatloaf, fried chicken, and the roasted beet salad. The two meat dishes were very potato heavy. There wasn’t a ton of meat and the broccoli was more of a garnish to the meatloaf meal (there was two pieces). …Hello Melissa~ There should have been 2 large slices of meatloaf and almost half a chicken in the buttermilk fried chicken, as far as the beet salad, it is small, it's all about the beets. The 3 pieces of lettuce are just a bed to hold the beets. I am sorry this wasn't clear when you ordered. I hope your delivery tasted amazing in spite of the portion size of your beet salad. Lovely neighborhood spot, serving American bistro style food. Burgers, gourmet sandwiches, steak, fried chicken. It's got a nice small bar area too. I eat here regularly and always enjoy my meals. Plenty of places to park on street or near City People's. Excellent staff.Thank you Tracy~See you again soon.

There wasn’t a ton of meat and the broccoli was more of a garnish to the meatloaf meal (there was two pieces). The beet salad was almost unbelievable. There were three pieces of lettuce and it took up only a third of the container space. There was one teaspoon of goat cheese and a tiny amount of nuts. It was a Starter or Side size, except they are charging entree salad prices.

Following state and CDC guidelines. Dining is 6 feet apart, masks worn by all servers and required for guests to dine in. Sanitizing between guest turnover, and every couple hours. No one aloud to sit at bar. Employees don't come to work if feeling ill~ most of our guests have been vaccinated. Doing all we can to keep our community healthy and safe!
