Literally my favorite place to be. Amazing group of people. It's truly my home away from home. 🥰🥰🥰

Yes there is a noon meeting at the 231 club on 6th and chambers. We have a meeting @ 6 as well..
Where
The 5:45 meeting is 7 days a week. There's a 7:15 meeting M-F and a 9 PM meeting Tuesday & Fri-Sun. There's a men's group that meets Sunday nights at 7:15 PM. The groups are all different, it's usually good to try different meetings when starting out. Some will appeal more than others & we're looking for one we like we can get to consistently which then is the best place to look for an AA sponsor. We call that a "home group". Most of our meetings are "open" meetings where anyone is welcome to attend. Of the meetings listed above only the 7:15 meeting on Monday & Friday are "closed" meetings intended for persons having a desire to stop drinking, meaning intended for members and newcomers only. All of the other meetings listed above are "open" meetings. We encourage your brother to come check it out, the fellowship of AA will welcome him with open arms. If he's not sure he needs AA we can probably help him figure that out. There is great hope and recovery in AA, IT WORKS!!
If you go to some meetings and explain your situation you can probably find rides with members. Its not a service AA provides, but many members are happy to help a new or relocated member get started in a new locale and group. It may seem like kind of a paradox but the primary purpose of AA groups is to help others find recovery and experience the transformation that is possible through the 12 steps.
No. We are self-supporting through voluntary contributions from our members. We pass a collection at meetings but no one is required to contribute. Thanks for your question!
