Nice park for a walk. Plants and tree well marked. Not too busy during the week. Must park on the street.

Lovely place for a peaceful walk. Free entrance. Although the Arboretum is open 7am to 7pm in the summer the Hunnewell Visitor Center is NOT! The visitor's center is open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday noon to 4 pm. So if you want to see the exhibits there go then.

Great place! So interesting during blooming season. Well displayed plant and tree names and very informative. Great place to get your steps in! Parking however is not great and can get crowded on nice warm weekends!

Absolutely stunning and beautiful greenery. Im confident other reviews have found the right words to describe the scenery, but as far as my experience goes it was very enjoyable with family. Spent a few hours here exploring, as it was my …

YES.
Generally parking is ok. You can always go to side street a block away from main entrance.
Near is a relative term. There's public parking along the Arborway within a kilometer (0.6 miles) of the lilacs, located on Bussey Hill Rd near Beech Path. But those spaces get filled early, especially on weekends. It's a popular spot for the best possible reason.
Free. I might also suggest you get off the beaten path. There are many items that most people miss, simply because they feel like they can't get into the woods. Don't mess things up, just quietly explore. You'll be astonished at what you come across.
It does, but they limit the amount of guests. However, they don't reserve spaces so you'll have to be aware that anyone may drop in....
It is, but hard to come by.
I was there a couple days ago, both Saturday and Sunday and there were a lot of cars parked along Walter St but I didn't have enough time to walk over and check Bussey.
There are bike racks by some of the entrances. The primary entrance off of Jamaicaway has one.
No at UMas labs in Waltham
Sweet gums can take up to late spring to leaf out. You can further be encouraged by the fact that your tree is exhibiting signs of growth - that is a very good sign. So, hang tight!
No...there is a small gift shop and restrooms but no food for sale...it's best to pack a lunch or snacks or even just coffee and find a spot to have a mini- picnic...

Most certainly
I'm not sure about.
Not that I saw but there is a small parkinglot with handicap spots available
Uncertain.
It has begun
I'm not sure. They are in bloom this time of year but I'm not sure if they are still at the arboretum.
Tours and activities are from 10am to 3pm. It is a very short walk from Forest Hills, where there is bus and train access as well as a parking lot for $6. *There are no food trucks this yr.
Not this year
Yes. We have taken our dog there many times. They even have dog bowls by some of the water fountains. They must be kept on a leash.
