Great service, beer and food. We had a burger (upgrade to onion rings, they are great) and chicken salad. Food was tasty and cooked to order.

Went before a show at the garden to get dinner and drinks before. Place was moderately busy but not crazy once we got there. I never like to dock stars on service alone (especially with a worker shortage at the moment) but the attitude of …Sorry you had a bad experience I wish you’d asked to speak to a manager as I was onsite that evening, and had thought we had accommodated you all as best we could in the situation that existed at the time. We were very very packed that night as you saw, place got full in like 10 minutes. We were able to accommodate your large multi-table party with the service dog and disabled folks, but it was very close quarters. I'm sorry one drink was missed and arrived late, and that you encountered the patented Gen Z eye roll - I will speak to that server - but this is unfortunately some of the help we get now-a-days... Just so you understand how busy nights are at Porters pub - folks are anxious to get to the game or show, so we have any available staff run your drinks and food to the table so it’s there timely and fresh. Which is why you encountered several of my crew, though I doubt the food was "thrown on the table". That's not how we serve our customers. It seems you were looking to hang out some which is great, but we didn’t know that at the time, as literally EVERYONE else is constantly rushing us to get the food, and then check, and then run out the door to the show or game. Glad the food was good at least... If you change your mind and decide to give us a second chance and come in for the next show, call the day before if you can, and speak to a manager about party size and accommodations for disabled and service animal(s) and I promise you we'll get it right this time!

Classic Boston pub but in good order and very clean. Staff is friendly, food is surprisingly good, and a decent draft list that will have something for everyone. Perfect place before a Celtics/Bruins game, or any other event at the TF …Thanks!
