July 27, 2022. First time here. It was a 3pm show on a Wednesday. We took the kids to see Minions. Awesome experience. Good food selections. Great Adult drinks with a full bar. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended. We parked at the garage across the street. ($15) for 4 hours. After the show, we walked around the river (Chicago RiverWalk) and bought ice-cream. Great night out.

I am a frequent movie goer and this AMC is a favorite place to go for movies. It is generally clean in the concession area and the popcorn is fresh tasting. (I can't speak about other snacks because I've only had popcorn). Additionally, the bathrooms are normally clean. My movie experience is always good. People aren't making a lot of noise or moving around a lot during the movie. Overall, I generally enjoy my experience at this AMC location. However, there is one undesired issue, the drink machines. While there are three drink machines, they are often out if beverages and one of the machines I know to stay away from because the soda tastes horrible. I make it a practice to taste-test my soda before filling the cup because I'm not sure if it will be drinkable when I get to my seat .It is not a great feeling to realize after the movie has started that your beverage is flat, or taste strange, especially when you have a large bucket of popcorn in front of you.

Easy to get to on public transportation. Very clean theatre. We sat in the handicap section. Seats are very tight. Tables very small. Sound was a bit too loud. And we had to close the door when the movie started. Worth going to for first run discount, $8!

No food available. Not good for a cinema called dine in. Unfriendly guy at the ticket office who made me buy the ticket before he 'allowed me to go to the restroom. Seats on what looks like a touch screen which has 'do not touch in very …

Park across the street in the lot up to 3 hours for 18 bucks with ticket validation
Yes, the armrest between every pair of seats folds up so you can snuggle. Or if you're fat like me, so you can sprawl across two seats, because the stupid little table is poking you in the gut.
I don't know but it really is best to choose seat and buy ticket on their website because its a busy theater
$16 for up to 6 hours from the minute you pull in if you get validated at the box office. The garage isn't owned by the theater, just partnered with it, and is across the street, rather than being the same building.
There are three times and three ticket types - morning, matinee, and evening for adult, child, and senior. Matinee is between 12 and 4, with morning before and evening after. Prices between 12 and 4 are slightly cheaper than after 4, but not as cheap as the shows before noon are. For the senior discount, just say you're a senior.
Yes, but the ones before noon are usually exclusive to Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, as well as right around Christmas due to Star Wars.
Around the First Show time witch is Roughly 12:00 or depends on the first Show time
If you are a stubs member on Tuesday's they're under $7.
I recall, walls on either side of my seat
There is a public parking garage right across the street from the theater. Make sure to get the parking validated at the ticket counter to receive the discount.
I'm sorry but I don't work there. I don't know how it works.
They validate parking but only for your show times
They don't, but on Tuesdays movies are $5 for Stubs members (its free and you can join online)
Yes, for AMC stubs members when you buy a large popcorn.
Well, I'm here currently & it's now $6 (before noon) + taxes. This is for a NON-3D show. I paid $13.44 for 2 regular show tickets.
On a Saturday?
There is a list here https://www.amctheatres.com/movie-theatres/chicago/amc-dine-in-600-north-michigan-9
You should sign up for rewards programs its much cheaper for everything
Not sure and the website isn't specific, you should call
Great deal...go for it.
If you are a Stubbs member, Tuesdays are $5 for anyone. Membership is around $12 per year, gets you other perks too - good deal!
No, it's a dine-in theater, so you're meant to buy the concession food there. They have a pretty good selection but limited/non-existent healthy options, just fyi.
Yup, just check the website, the AMC app or the Fandango app.
For me, the earlier shows on the weekend have been less crowded.
It depends on the time of day, the type of movie, and your Stubs membership. All this information is on their website.
Yes you can
It depends on your taste. They have some good options. I usually get their ranch burger and find it big enough. I never got to try their sushis because they were out when I wanted to.
A new POS system is coming soon, but won't arrive until sometime in 2018 or 2019.
