This Ulta Beauty has been fairly well stocked and most employees are polite. However, I went in recently, shortly before closing time, and got trapped by one employee in a sales pitch of sorts (hard sell of certain products) all the way up to store close. They then gave me some samples, which would usually be appreciated, but all of the samples contain ingredients I mentioned needing to avoid due to allergies. My reason for getting assistance was to find sensitive products not containing these ingredients, so it ended up being a frustrating experience. Decent store, but less likely to ask for help in the future if I return.

Hot Tools curling irons have poorly designed power cords. The AC cord breaks after few years of use. We have 3 with AC cords broken at the strain relief. Neither Ulta nor Hot Tools Warranty will provide a replacement. I can fix the cords but they break again in a different spot. They need to use more strands of wire in the AC cord so it can provide more flexing cycles. Ulta should stand behind their product better.
