Great place, wonderful people working and running it. Fair prices, great quality of care for the animals they house there based on what I've seen. They also have three very cute dogs that are just as much a draw as the quality of their store.

One can not say enough good things about this shop and the people who dedicate their lives to the education and well being of these animals.

Great place, I highly recommend them over anywhere else! I dont usually post reviews but after seeing some lower ranked ones on here that are stating interesting experiances (that i dont think would ever happen here) i decided I should. I have been going to this store for over 5 years and have never had or seen someone have a negative experiance. There animals are always very well taken care of and the staff is always nice. I always enjoy browsing the plants and checking out the new animals when im waiting for my feeders. I purchased a crested gecko when I first started coming here from the daughter that breeds them, she was very kind and knowledgable and even helped me transition to my first bio active tank. They also host very cool reptile shows in their shop sometimes where you can hold their large snakes like the burmese for pics! Very wonderful family run business in SC definatley a locals secret but I would never go anywhere else!

The prices of animals in the shop vary. Different breeds of turtles can vary in price.
We usually have the exo terra 18x18x24, however we are currently out of stock. We do have 18x18x36 in stock if you are interested in that size. If you call or email, we would be happy to give you a call when they arrive.
Depending on type, gender and age Chameleons typically range $50 - $700.
No. Rates and mice for feeding snakes etc. but not Guinea pigs or hamsters for pets.
I don't know. I never bought one from the store.
Sorry, thank you for letting us know, comcast finally got us back up and running. Phone should be working now.
Pet shop Santa Cruz sells materials more for reptiles, and fish. If you're looking for a variety of birds, I'd suggest pet emporium in Capitola. Although Pet Shop Santa Cruz is amazing with better service, Pet emporium just has more of what you're looking for.

We offer educational and interactive presentations for birthday parties and events where we bring 15-30 different species of animals to you to learn about and interact with, all varying in size and texture. We do not have specific animals in-store that are available for holding or petting. If something happens to be out when you stop by if they would like to interact with you, you are welcome to do so.
They have a Tegu in, not for sale, and get all kinds of reptiles in. I would call them.
They can be special ordered, but are difficult to keep
