I love the Fábrica. I remember when they first opened as the "Sew-Op" and shared an office with PedX. Now they're in the storefront location of the Hub and it is such a valuable resource for the community. It is always a really nice atmosphere in there, black tea hot in the pot, nice people. Best place to look for fabric or work on a project. (Photo is from a First Friday event a few months back.)

Questions & Answers

Do you accept fabric and sewing supply donations?

Yes, the Fabrica is supplied almost solely by donations from the community.

Do you have sewing machines that people can use to alter their clothing etc?

Yes! They have a few sewing machines and a four-thread serger as well as tons of thread and fabric, and knowledgeable people to help you with your project if needed! Fabrica operates on a donation basis, so no one is turned away but they ask for a few dollars to cover materials and help keep the space open.
