Update 6/30/22 - changed rating to 4 stars from 1 star. Manager (Dan) coordinated additional pickup for left behind section of bunk beds. Hopefully staff will be trained and canned responses will reflect the supports for bunk beds are included in approved donations. 6/23/22 feedback- I find it very wasteful that u will not take the wooden plank support bottom that comes with the bed frame when a bunkbed is purchased. This isn't a box spring- why won't the team accept this part of the bed? Someone has to build or buy this as an extra purchase even though they may be strapped for cash? I am disappointed. It would have been helpful to know that you considered the wooden planks that cross the framing a "box spring" when u sent the original note explaining mattresses are not accepted. You should revisit how bunkbeds are sold because that is part of the furniture purchase. Not a purchase i had to make separate for a "box spring" as your techs tried to explain it. Thanks for considering.

Fantastic people and products all at affordable prices. As a young guy without a lot of pocket change, this place is a dream!
Special Love
I needed two cabinets and they took my number and called me when they had them. I was going to buy the new unfinished ones. THIS SAVE 150 BUCKS!! Thanks for great service.

I went there 15 minutes before close because I wanted to take a quick look around and they already had their doors locked. Their hours are posted clearly on the door stating that they should have been open until 5. I was not the only person upset about this, because after I went to my car, 3 other people walked up to the door as well. I understand that they closed in literally 15 minutes, but they should lock their doors at their actual closing time instead of 15 minutes early because the staff doesn’t want to deal with anymore people for the day.

Yes, I have pics! How do I get them to you?
Hi Sharon, Thanks for thinking of us, but we don't accept clothing donations. Goodwill or AMVETS are great options though!
We do have some at both stores. Best bet is to stop in to see if we have sizes that will work for you.
Hi Christine, We would be happy to accept the Christmas items but are unable to accept any toys. The decorations and ornaments can be dropped off at either ReStore any Tuesday - Saturday between 9am - 5pm. Thanks!
I'm sorry but due to liability issues we do not go up or down interior stairs on pickups. If you can find a family member or neighbor that can move things outside we would be happy to schedule a pickup. Thanks for checking with us.
No, I'm sorry, we do not accept used paint. You will need to either dry it out with sand or cat litter and toss it with your garbage or it can be taken to the Monroe County Eco-Park for disposal.
Hi Christina, While we don't accept clothing at our ReStores you would be able to donate them at AMVETS in Henrietta or possibly any Salvation Army store.
Hi James, We would be happy to accept the pedestal sink. It can be dropped off at either ReStore anytime we are open.
Yes
Hi James, we do not take boats at this time. You can donate it to Habitat through our Cars for Homes program by going to habitat.org. You will find the link under Support and then Donate your car. You will still get a tax write off and someone will come pick up the boat. I hope that this helps and if you need any other information please let us know.
Hi Sam, Our age requirements for volunteering or involvement vary by activity. You can find an overview at: https://www.rochesterhabitat.org/youth and there is a contact form at the bottom of the page that goes to our Volunteer Manager if you have any further questions. Thanks!
Hi Terry, you can find the exact numbers on our Charity Navigator page (link below). If you aren't familiar, Charity Navigator is an independent agency that tracks and rates nonprofits on various criteria including your specific question and others. Their most recent rating of us was 90.97 out of 100. https://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=search.summary&orgid=13813
Call the number and they can schedule a pick up or you can drop the item off at any time
Hi Pamela, Thanks for thinking of us! Our ReStores can only accept mattresses that are still in the original packaging. You may be able to try Willow Domestic Violence Center or RAIHN as they will take good condition used mattresses. Thanks!
Did you check here? https://www.rochesterhabitat.org
Yes, as long as they're in good condition. Thanks for your donation.
Yes, they pick up and deliver. They go by your zip code.
Ye as long as it works
Go down to your local main office and fill out an application
You can contact the office and ask your questions?
Hi Rhonda, Most of our inventory is donated by households and businesses in the community. We get steel doors occasionally, but right now they aren't something that is always in stock. For most items, the best option is to stop in occasionally and see what's new and what's on sale!
You would have to come in to the office and do the application. After you do that we will be able to go through the process from there. That would cover everything from cost to your eligibility
Yes Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm and Saturday 9 am to 3 pm
