On 6/25/22 I went in to get crochet braids put in. I had arrived early before my appointment was supposed to start. A lady before me had an appointment at 2:15pm. I arrived around 2:20 or 2:30pm. The lady who took over for Martha was really kind and said since I had arrived early, I would get my hair done first. I kindly asked the lady to tighten my cornrows so they would stay in longer. I start to get a little worried with how my cornrows would turn out. But I stay patient. We’re all talking and having a good time. The lady who had her appointment at 2:15pm walks in, she confirms her appointment. The lady doing my hair tells her to kindly wait for her turn. The lady doing my hair said it would take her 30mins to finish it. The lady with the hair appointment said she’d head to Walmart and be back. She walks out with a rude attitude. The lady doing my hair then rushes to finish the cornrows, she barely sews them in or tied them up. She rushed to put in the crochet hair. She told me I did not have enough packs of hair, I had ordered 7 packs. That was on me, though that should have been enough. Both her and Martha’s daughter offered to put in other packs of hair that did not go with the hair that I ordered, then offered to put in twists with the braids. Martha’s daughter was kind enough to drive me to another hair salon to see if there was hair in the same color. The lady with the 2:15pm appointment showed for her appointment. I was sitting in the chair with my hair barely done and my hair barely cornrowed. The lady doing my hair asked if I could get up so the other lady could get her hair done. I lost my patience and had my mom come pick me up. Thankfully I got my money refunded back to me. I was not going to pay for that! I’ve been going to Beauty Supply since I was a child. And I have never had that type of service. Before I had my graduation pictures taken the only place I went to go and get my hair done was Beauty Supply. It is not a race to get a clients hair finished. I need you guys to know that. If a client arrives late for her appointment, that’s on her. She needs to wait, especially if another client arrives there on time! It is about having the client leaving satisfied with her results, and knowing that her hair will look good for a while. I am not mad I am disappointed. After all the places I could have chosen, I chose Beauty Supply. You have been my go to place for years. Do better!
