I grew up going to this library and still visit when back home. Very friendly staff and a wide selection of options of books, magazines, DVDs, CDs, activities, and access to computers and printer.

Staff is amazing, building is tiny, parking is atrocious, no handicap ramp from street

Linden Hills landmark. A great local library well-resourced with sections and activities for kids and adults. The two-story historic building doesn’t have a lot of space for work or collaboration, so call ahead if you have that need. Otherwise, this is a great place to come alone or with kids and find most any book you’d like.

Hi Timothy, I got 25 results when searching with the keyword "fur trade" at the Linden Hills Library. https://hclib.bibliocommons.com/v2/search?f_STATUS=LH&query="fur+trade"&searchType=keyword&sort=published_date One can broaden the search to other libraries which gives about 240 results. The library system allows for reserving a material available at any location for pickup at a library of choice. Perhaps that is Linden Hills for you. Hope that helps!

Yes, you can make printouts. They also have a computer with a scanner. Black and White printouts are 10 cents a page.
Open hours were expanded in Minneapolis libraries a few years ago, most locations got another open day. Usage, traffic and now economic disparities factor in deciding open hours. Other Minneapolis libraries have higher traffic than Linden Hills but Edina and Southdale aren't too far away.
