Fantastic walking park~ Full sidewalks with lots of different path options. A new area is just opening up that follows around a pond that the local wildlife ( as well as seasonal wildlife ) frequent and enjoy. A joy to see! Park has several benches, soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball fields, a playground, picnic tables, outdoor gym, miniature library ( take a book, leave a book style ), and several art sculptures/installations. Plenty of parking at several different areas of the park. Lots of folks out and about walking, several with dogs, or enjoying recreational activities. Street lights come on a little after sunset. Feels safe and neighborly~

Is this park maintained well? (Is it a nice park or are the trash cans always full, bathrooms dirty, picnic areas messy, etc.)

Besides the geese mess on the lawn for a portion of the fall and spring, the park is well maintained.

There are laws about entrapping and relocating wildlife in most states and Colorado is not an exception. Typically you need approval from the landowner (the city in this case) to relocate. I would contact Lakewood Animal Control or Colorado Parks & Wildlife to figure out your situation.
