It's a nice park to walk around. While on your adventure, you may encounter people walking dogs, many birds like harrier hawks, friendly people and some trails near the creek. You can even get your feet wet in the creek in some nice cool off spots. Watch for snakes in this heat!! There are a couple pounds to fish in. Spots to pic nic. My favorite is many awesome spots to read my book in nature, while not having to drive far.

Great trail, we have walked this trail up to the Bear Creek Lake Park, it wraps around a golf course and you always see lots of nature and creatures on this trail! We have only walked this trail to about Wadsworth but it look like it goes pretty far! They plow it almost instantly when it snows and it's well maintained!

What a great experience! We took the trails, and there were a lot of them, to go in all different directions. All depend on what you want to experience, whether it be open, wooded, or even by the creek. I saw nature's creatures in their natural habitat. Like beavers, and ducks in the water, and prairie dogs in the open fields. The park was very busy, and there's loads of cyclists. But they will warn you on the side that they're on, but just stay to the right 👉

If you love the out doors with easy access and foot trails this is the place. Nice fishable ponds with handy cap areas and piers. There are some big fish in the ponds! Some ponds are a little walk in but accessable by foot on dirt road and some by paved trail. Lots of wildlife and a huge prairie dog farm. Hawks, coyotes and large fish eating birds. Wood ducks and smaller water foul abundand. Some great photo ops there!

About a 1 minute walk.
No, it's unlit except for the crossings under the bridges. It gets dark early there in the winter, but you'll still find people biking at dusk with headlights. A bit of advice: even though the greenbelt is safe and populated with cyclists, runners, and families (especially in warm weather), keep an eye out for vagrants. I was riding my mountain bike on one of the gravel trails with my wife and son last summer and we rode into a stand of cottonwoods. We came across a camp used by homeless people, although no one was there at the time.
Idk. Don't go there to fish but they have signs up about the kinds of fish in the one pond or whatever they call it and people do fish there
