Really great park with relatively easy and short hiking trails available that are kid friendly. The falls itself was a tad underwhelming, which is 100% due to it being a dry Summer-but that just means I'll need to come back in the Fall to see it in all it's glory. Aside from hiking, there are also great picnic spots and swings/seesaws. Last but not least, there are a couple of ponds with lots of frogs which were fun to watch. Also appreciated the clean restrooms!

The falls are beautiful, but don't expect to get too close. The viewing platform is a good distance away and there's a lot of greenery obscuring the view. There are quiet a few stairs needed to get to the platform but they are well maintained and there are railings along most of it.

First-come, first-use sites feature a grill and approximately three picnic tables each. Picnickers are responsible for removing their own ash from the grill and trash from their picnic site.

Just remember...Dogs must be on a leash not longer than 6', inoculated for rabies and never left unattended. Mutt mitts and receptacles are provided for cleaning up after your dog. Thank you.
It is offficially open April 1st from dawn to dusk, but you can park at the entrance year round and go in. The only real difference is thay the bathrooms arent open. And no one closes the gate after hours so that doesn't change. There is an ambiguous box that says it's a donation box, but a sign that says it's a fee of $2. So take your pick.
