5 and a half hour wait in the wait in the emergency room, but outstanding care once I was finally called, The nurses were great. My doctor took several tests which were very helpful to my situation

Horrible. Would not recommend this emergency department. I have been seen faster for less urgent matters. Sat there for over 3 hours without being called in while three different rounds of people were seen who came in after me. Finally left to go to a more competent emergency room and was taken right in.

Er hung up on me after telling me they dont give out medical advice. I just said my baby tested positive for covid and has a fever, are we allowed to bring her in?

Patient in two weeks ago had a stroke. The staff in Er was fabulous. Patient had to go to ICU. Staff was great. Dr though, he was suppose to put in for an cat scan for patient to have that night or first thing in the morning. Then patient was moved again. 4 days later still no cat scan and was told an order was never put in. The nurses never updated the health care proxy. Not once ever saw a dr on stroke unit. It seemed they only came into patient room when it wasn’t visiting hours. Even had a nurse give me attitude when asking questions. Either didn’t know or had to wait for the dr to come in she says several hours when he’s done with his dictation. I could go on forever. Short staffed I get that. That’s no excuse for the lack of compassion many of these nurses and doctors have. And the front end terrible attitude as well. If you don’t like your job then leave. Pathetic excuse for a hospital. The security however top notch. They are friendly and seem more concerned for those coming in.

Questions & Answers

Could they make the admissions process better ? I brought my mom for pre admission for a procedure she is scheduled for and it took us almost 2 hours to finish. The employees didn't seem very organized , we did a lot of waiting.

If you don't have Insurance your opening your self for a rude awakening. Staff is very rude and lazy. They just don't care.
