So if you are getting an ID for the first time in Ga it's $32. good for 8 years. If you are replacing it for a lost or stloen ID it's only $5. If you are making a change of address its free for the first time in it's term. An ID for voting purposes only is also free...

Yes I just did this last week. Make sure you bring in enough forms to prove residency and identification, as it's for a real ID. I was in and out in less than 20! Then 1 mile down the road is the tag office, you also fill a form out online if you aren't financing your vehicle. Also in and out in less than 20. You could probably do them one right after an another. You don't need to wait for your new GA license. The paper copy plus your out of state lisence is enough. Good luck!

You are no longer required to make an appointment. There is an online form you can fill out to make the process faster once you get there.

You actually only need to make an appointment for the road test. You no longer have to right now for anything else, can just walk in. Do the pre-registration online, print and take with you. When you walk in you can skip the whole line (not literally) by letting them know you pre-registered and they'll take you to the front, check any paperwork if needed and give you a number and voila

If you just Google search for transferring license to Georgia, you can use a license expired within 2 years. You should Google it to fill out your form and make the process easier when you go in person to complete the transfer.

I went towards the EOD on a Friday (4:20pm) when they close at 5pm and was called up in like 5 mins. I had my online form completed prior and I was out in 15 mins.

I was just there about 2 hours ago there is a website you can go on DDS DOT Georgia. Gov you can set an appointment online and you'll be able to replace your lost driver's license as soon as your appointment comes up I was just down there this morning getting a lifetime MVR and getting a new diver knowledge to study for couple of weeks

I went down to the DDS a couple of weeks ago and I was able to get a 8 year MVR and now I can I found out I don't have any citations or fines now all I have to do is take the driver knowledge test for class 1&2 and eye test and my class 1 and Class 2 driver's license will be restored and reinstated

I was able to go to the DDS yesterday I went to my bank Georgia United Credit Union right beside it I was able to obtain a lifetime MVR and only waited about 20 minutes sitting in that chair before I was served

No. You have to go to an EMISSIONS TESTING Stand. All Emissions Testing includes all years of vehicles. Newer vehicles can go anywhere; older vehicles can only go where specifies "ALL" (I think 20 and older are "older" cars. It's usually $25. They can be free-standing EMISSIONS TESTING places, though are often part of auto mechanics' garages.
