I like this gym. I am a black card member so I take advantage of the water massage, total body recovery and tanning. I like the atmosphere here. There is also a variety of patrons from young to old. Some people just walk the facility. But it is nice to see the older generation staying active. I would give a 5 star but currently the water lounge chairs are broken. The staff is really nice as well. If you are thinking of joining. Go to their website for a free day pass and a tour. There is something for everyone here. BTW they don't allow jump ropes. There is a locker room with lockers (bring your own lock), showers and restrooms. I have been a member since may and I had to put my membership on pause over the summer because school is out. The staff was really helpful in getting this done. I am glad to have a safe place where I can put my headphones on and zone out while I work out. No one bothers you and most customers clean the machines after they use them. They have plenty of cleaning supplies available.

I’ve always been too scared to go to the gym as it seemed intimidating, but this gym is pretty nice! I feel comfortable going here and all the machines work fairly well! It’s a Planet Fitness so you can’t expect much, but being a beginner this place is perfect!

I like the people at this particular planet fitness. Always kind always helpful. Accessibility is pretty good. I didn’t stay long because I’m so disabled with arthritis I really need an aquatics program. But if I didn’t- I’d still be there.

I pay 25/month for black card which includes all of the benefits. However, this gym is under remodeling til Thursday. Hope this helps!

There are few, if any, classes at planet fitness. There are excellent helpers and one on one training available at most of them but the bulk of the exercise is self directed.
You can basically pay $10/mo plus a $29 fee in june i think. Or $20/mo for the black card which has lots of nice perks. You can use the hydro massage beds and tanning stuff if you want. Bring a guest any tone you want. And you can use any planet fitness in the country. That's what i have and its worth it imo. You pay the same $29 fee in june no matter which way you go. Plus there is a sign up fee which is usually $29 also but they often run sales on that where it's like a buck
U have to have the black card to get a guest in. Its no a scam. Another ten bucks to bring anyone in osnt that bad.

No. I do not believe any planet fitness locations have saunas. If you're looking for a place like that. Try YMCA in parkville. It's almost a brand new facility they have a sauna, steam room, hot tub, and a pool. They have a full gym. They have dumbbells to go up to 120 lb. Great locker rooms. They have a daycare center in the building. It's all around a hundred million times better than Planet Fitness. The only difference is this one closes at 10pm.
