I was told to bring some equipment to the jail to be turned into the sheriff's /JAIL office for property that BELONGED to them!!!!! They where extremely RUDE/SHORT and acted like i was a waste of time.....DID not ask any question about what I had or why I was there. I drove 45 mins to do this and felt intimidated and that was only via phone conversation from the parking lot. I understand you may have a stressful Job, However I am a fine upstanding citizen of Cass county who Served his country proudly for 20 years in the Marines, pay may taxes, work 6 - 7 days a week and abide by the law that I fought to uphold so freedom was still allowed. (looks like its being taken away by every institution). I know how to treat people and be a little more political correctness without a superiority complex. Just a Concerned Citizen of Cass County!

Im bored and was reading reviews. I have spent more time at this place than most people. But you know who put me there? ME. i know most of the older deputies and i was never treated bad. Just held accountable for my own actions. There are several deputies i consider friends now. The jail is a miserable lonely place for sure. But there are some very good people working there

Yesterday afternoon Monday, June 7, 2021 I Was stopped for having expired tags in Belton near Holmes Road. I was at the Cherry Hill gas station and could see one of your deputies waiting for me to leave, like come on man 🤣 you don’t have anything better to do man? When he stopped me I thought he was pulling over someone who passed me going well over the speed limit. but nope he was after me and I didn’t even do anything wrong besides have expired plates. Close to 20mph over the speed limit I would say I was passed by another driver. And they didn’t even have plates. your officer singled me out, and was waiting for me to leave the gas station to follow me and stop me. Thats pretty unprofessional and petty to say the least. Sir please find something else to do with your time instead of waste mine. I appreciate your deputy giving me a break and not giving me a ticket, but Sherif you really should get the point across to your deputies that they should be out chasing real crime & not innocent people that abide by the laws. I work a lot so i don’t have much time to get tags and stand at the license office for 3 hours.
