I used to live in Lake Hiawatha, growing up, and Howard's Bagels was a town staple. The bagels were always fresh and delicious. I haven't been there in many years, but this morning I went to my favorite salon next door (Eclipz) and decided to stop in for a coffee. The bagels looked so fresh and it smelled so good I decided to get my favorite (bagel w/ cream cheese and lox) and some bagels and cream cheese for my family. Wow! These were even better than I remember, so fresh and the perfect combination of soft, crunchy and chewy. And the coffee was deeeelicious. I drink a hazelnut coffee with French vanilla creamer every morning, but this one was oh so rich and tasty. The staff was super friendly and efficient. Bravo HB! You get five stars in all categories. I will now have to make a stop each time I visit my home town.

Stumbled upon this place to get few dozens of their Delicious bagels, happy and cheerful people working here, fast and efficient service Reasonable prices. Huge selection of breakfast and lunch options! Lots of choices of breads, rolls, wrap, paninis, etc. Everything is fresh and made to order. It's nice to visit places like this!

I go to this place because it’s conveniently located on my street plus the food is o k. Anyway, I am writing this review because this is the second time I’ve been there this week with that being said, I come here often enough for them to know who I am! Every time I come I get overcharged the girl thinks if she’s fast on the register people won’t pick up on here tagging an extra .50 cents here .25 cents here…it’s so ridiculous!!! Can’t even look out for your regulars. I get a sandwich one day it $10 one day with a drink next day $12 without one?!? The bagels and banana bread are evidentially the same price now!!! and a small coffee is $1.75!!!

The bagels at this place is good comparing to most places speaking from my experience. I'm very picky with food so I would drive 60 miles from my residence to pick up bagels here. Every time I place an order I request NO ONIONS (I order either 12 or 24 bagels each visit). Once I return home I always find onion bagels in my order. Today, 3/5/2022, I repeated myself 4 time that I do not want any bagels with onion on it and yet I receive 5 bagels with onion on top. It reach a point where I feel as though I should not be a customer at this place. How hard can it be for such a simple order. (bagels with onion are on top right of the photo)
