I’ve never had a worst experience at this store in the whole time I have lived in Palo Alto. I’ve have always loved coming to this store cause I know everyone is super nice. But today we were not welcomed. There were 5 beauty helpers and not one asked if we needed help and check on us. We had to ask a lady from the skin department to help us out. And there was one lady who instead of asking us for help she assumed we were stealing. Honestly worst experience unfortunately I see this is not the first time for others at well. I mean what can someone expect from Palo Alto. To many rude people

Go to downtown Palo Alto instead. Staff here was rude and they closed the store 20 min prior and when I tried to get in the lady said “they’ve been here since 11am” which was a kind but condescending way to say “get here earlier next time.” I get wanting to leave early but if the store hours say you close at a certain time stop being lazy and close it at that time.

Some great workers and some not. Got much needed advice from Genie and purchased her skincare recommendations. She was so nice and super helpful. I then moved on to the makeup area. As I was trying to decide which product to buy from a makeup brand section, I was abruptly told by a worker to move from the area I was in as she needed the mirror for another customer. No “sorry” or “excuse me”. As I looked up I saw 4-5 empty mirrors very close to us that she easily could have gone to. I got up to the cashier to make a purchase but also return a product I previously purchased but was not satisfied with. When I told her I wanted to do an exchange she looked at me with an “are you serious?” face. Once she was done she aggressively handed me my purchases and stated “you’re done” and called the next person up. Overall, really disappointed in the customer service here.
