Arrived to the store 10 mins before closing. Yes I work and unfortunately since they cut back their hours it’s hard for busy hard working moms like myself to shop in the morning . Went in to take advantage of the coupon they send me, all I needed was 2 white polo T’s for my son which where located right in front of the register literally an easy in and out transaction . When I walked in the store the lady at the kids cash registers rolled her eyes huffed and puffed and said she was closing . I said okay that’s fine I’m only grabbing 2 quick items she huffed and puffed . Her attitude was nasty , when I got to the register she didn’t even ask for my rewards number I handed her my coupon and automatically she said it didn’t work and she wasn’t overriding it . First and foremost if it wasn’t for that coupon I wouldn’t even of stepped foot in JCP . For this very reason prices are extremely high, brands are so 2000 and the employees are miserable and hate their jobs . I will be contacting JCP head office regarding this matter because their sign outside says closing time is 8pm anyone that comes in before 8pm shouldn’t be scolded and given attitude. The consumers are what pay the employees salary / wages . By the way this establishment is being ran it’ll be the next places to go out of business will never shop here again . I’ll gladly take my business to kohl’s , or target where prices are always right and customer server is always great! Good luck JCP count your days :)
