went on a Friday afternoon. had the whole place to ourselves. Staff was friendly and the curator in the fossil area greater us and offered to answer any questions. Great fir young and old.

Nice collection, small museum, but a variety of things. Clean, well maintained. No food or snacks. Small planetarium but very nice exhibit. Children's den area was very limited. But fun.

Yes, it is free! We made sure to shop at the beautiful gift shop. All of the proceeds help to support the museum. There are donation boxes as well.
There is just an open area for groups to eat. Literally, just a big empty room. There are restaurants a few blocks to the east on State St.

I don't know what times the shows are on Tuesday but it should say on their website. If it doesn't just call snd they'll tell you.
You can go their website which gives sll the information on the timed and different dhows at the planetarium. I'd suggest calling them to verify times of the various shows at the planetarium. I haven't made a planetarium dhow but have sern the art in the museum which is excellent.
On the weekend, you can enter the outdoor lot next to the museum. The entrance is by it's neighbor, then winds around to the back of the museum. It was free.
I didn't come across one earlier this summer. As mentioned previously, some exhibits have been closed.
