I went to take a casual look at this apartment building, and ended up meeting the very friendly and helpful building manager, Tavarus. I’ve met a few apartment managers in Miami who run the gamut of awfulness—from being indifferent, uneducated, slick, to even unscrupulous. So, it was refreshing to see a friendly face and great attitude instead, AND be able to get lots of helpful information! Having an intelligent person to communicate with instead of a slick salesman, should be a given, but not in Miami. If you are interested in a 62+ building for yourself or for family in Coconut Grove, do go meet Tavarus. I’m sure he will take good care of you. He seems to truly care about the people who reside where he works. Also, the building looks to be very well maintained, is attractive, and is right down the street from downtown Coconut Grove, as well as the Metrorail. Btw, the area is still a work in progress--hence the 4 stars, but heard from other residents that they do not experience issues with crime, any more than the average Miami neighborhood. That may not sound impressive, but the area has definitely changed from what it was years ago and deserves checking out.

My mom has been living here since this place opened. Very attentive staff, with Tavarus, Norman and Renny making sure the needs of this older population is taken care of, which can be demanding.

Tavarus and Norman are super sweet and helpful with all of the residents, always have a great attitude and willing to help at any time. Great place to live!!!
