I used to be a volunteer in this facility and the best part that I've seen is that this place is more than a ALF. This place is a home for their residents, they feel happy because they feel part of a family. Angel House stands out from the crowd especially with regard to holistic care and less medication - as well as their multi-cultural diversity. 100% recommended

My sister has been a resident at Angle House for almost 5 years. I have only good things to say. The food is freshly and organically prepared daily and special attention to each residents needs. On every visit I find each resident nicely dressed and cared for and the cleanliness is so evident. Angel House is a small facility where each resident has plenty of their own private space but also welcoming for the small group. The director is always available for any concerns and treats residents like family. A lot of extra activities available. I would recommend Angel House.

The Nurses are the BEST and the true Angels here. they love their patients and you can tell they do. But the Owner Doreen is not to be trusted. She will NOT BE UP FRONT WITH YOU or explain things to you completely Will tell you that your loved one gave permission when they did not . I was very disappointed in the way my loved one was taken care of by her and the way she treated the family after we bent over backwards when we bought the supplies that we were NEVER reimbursed like she said she would. This is after she cheated a Social worker out of her commission for referring me to her place.

Questions & Answers

do you take dementia patients?

Sure! Many people at an advanced age tend to suffer from dementia & memory loss. As a result, almost every ALF has at least some residents with dementia, if not most. Sometimes the question relates to "Memory Care" which can be a technical distinction. In its strictest terms, that can be in a "lockdown" floor or wing, where residents can't freely leave or go outdoors, mostly at a very large facility... That's very sad - since 2020, a lot of harm has been done to the mental & physical health of countless people in nursing homes and ALFs globally, isolating them from their families. We all need an advocate when we're sick, injured or possibly unconscious. Thankfully, Florida has adopted the No Patient Left Alone Act, signed into law by Governor Ron DeSantis. You Cannot Be Denied access to your loved one, regardless of age, in a Florida healthcare facility. Angel House complies with that very humane law. Call us for details!

Is it 24 hours?

Yes! Angel House accepts Residents for 24-Hour care, as well as Daycare clients who stay with us during the day, making friends, enjoying activities and delicious food, while their family members work, and the Day healthcare client goes back home in the evening, whether that's their own place or they live with family. The best of both worlds, which then lets most Daycare clients in recent years, feel like they're moving to a different family home, when it's time for residential care, 24/7. We love it when that happens, because that's our mission, that Angel House is simply, home! Please call us today for a no-obligation tour of the most Holistic ALF home Ever.

What is the cost of living there? I'm almost 80 but in excellent health. I'm a widow.

Yes, this question was very well answered by Gershon. Rates do vary, depending on care level. Please do reach out to our office, and we're happy to help with up-to-date information on an individual basis. Our rates are still lower than the national average, and in fact, below the Florida average rates as well. Please call us soon for a free consultation!

Assisted Living rates are generally in terms of monthly rates. And those are based on care level needed. At Angel House, our rates are very reasonable, well below national and state averages, with way more services and a much more holistic, natural approach. You'll see the difference immediately - Please call us for a no-obligation consultation based on your individual needs and preferences.
