They disclosed they could not help me because we are not physically abused by other party. Sometimes it is more then physical abuse.... Mental. Verbal. Shake my head... Not helping people who need it

They are currently helping me with an identity theft case and they have been so helpful. It would be worth your time to call and talk with them to see what they could do for you. In the meantime, document everything that happens concerning your ex and child. Take pictures, videos, record conversations, write everything down. It can only help you with your case. Good Luck! I know this is a hard thing to go through but you will get through it.
They DO help with divorce, including when children are involved. They help people who are financially unable to hire an attorney on their own. Best to call them around 8a or 9a, they have people that ask money questions (income, rent, utility amts, medical, state aid, child care, whatever you get and spend), and what you need them to do? They then determine if you meet money requirements & tell you if they can help you or not. If you call early enough in the day you can probably even start working with your assigned attorney the same day. So call Early! They are fast and efficient.
