I could not have dreamed of having a better team of nurses for my labor and delivery and postpartum. They were literal angels on earth, every single one of them. I wish I could remember all of their names, but the nurse that I will never forget was McLaren. Every time I think of my birth, I will always be filled with so much gratitude for her encouragement and kindness. As a first time mom I was so encouraged, supported, uplifted, heard, and advocated for. I remember feeling nervous for each shift change because I wasn't sure if all of the nurses would be so kind, but every one of them were. The postpartum nurses were beyond caring and helpful during the most vulnerable and painful time of my life. I could go on and on. My birth experience was such a positive one and I wish I could thank each of them again and again, and let them know what a difference they are making. I truly hope some of the nurses see this. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I just spent a week here following surgical procedures and being tested for medical issues. I can say this place is honestly amazing !!! The doctors the nurses the staff in general do their best to make you feel like more then just a patient ! And after 2 months of suffering not knowing what was happening within 12 hours I had answers and treatments started of being here! Nobody likes a hospital but if you have to go, this is the place! Other then myself being sick I have absolutely no complaints with my treatment here. I received some of the best care by the most compassionate people. And I’m very thankful

I had two babies at this hospital. I went to see the Dr at the hospital during my entire pregnancy. The Dr was incredibly rude and mean. I got pregnant at 39 and he told me I was to old to be pregnant, that my body didnt want to pregnant. That its good to know that a baby has all ten toes and fingers but the most important part was the heart and that my baby's heart and arteries weren't forming properly and had me scared the entire time I was pregnant my baby would need heart surgery right away or die. He came out 100% healthy. During the delivery they weren't able to get the epidural to work, they tried giving it to me three times. When the nurse told me to start pushing the doctor wasnt even in the room and my baby was hanging out head and shoulders when she started yelling at me to stop pushing and he almost fell out onto the floor. I had never seen any of the doctors I dealt with before. And there is no nursery in this hospital. My son before this one I had in this hospital as well. I had to get a c-section and still had to hold my baby all night. Without any sleep. These nurses and Dr are awful. I would never recommend this hospital for anyone looking to have a good experience being pregnant and delivering your baby.

My daughter was born polynephoritis from bladder reflux syndrome and was a “frequent flyer” for the first couple of years of her life. The nurses and staff were very thoughtful and explained every procedure down to the fine print. As a mother it’s hard to see your baby sick and to be prodded and poked but the staff made everything better just by being supportive and reassuring.

According to this website, yes it is. https://www.babyfriendlyusa.org/for-parents/find-a-baby-friendly-facility/ Having my baby here, which was in the NICU for a little bit of a stint, they offered both breast and bottle feeding options.
