I was visiting LA and decided on the Hair Parlour on 8th from all the salons in the area. I was so impressed by how cool the vibe was and how friendly and accommodating the staff was. Sophie who is the owner, cut my hair and did an amazing job! I love my new look and will definitely return for my next visit.

Went to Nicole for about 8 months to have them move my extensions up. After going to another salon I realized she ties my extensions WAY too tight. Causing pain for up to a week. I thought this was normal until I went to a new salon and had them moved up. With Nicole, it was painful to have them moved up, I would go home with raised welts on my head where the beads were placed. Severe headaches and pain for at least 5 days, sometimes longer. I also have bald spots on my head because of this. Again, thought this was normal. I went to a new salon, and didn’t even feel them being tied in. No pain when I went home, no headaches. Also, I paid $300 to have them moved up and get my hair washed and she didn’t even have time to style and blow dry my hair. This happened a couple times, where my hair wouldn’t get styled. Everyone is nice there and the place is really nice, offering free beverages but all in all I lost hair because of this place. And who knows if it will grow back in or not Edit: Sophie, the owner reached out to me to resolve this issue. She sent me an awesome hair growth treatment in the mail. Thank you so much Sophie Also, in response to the owners reply; again, I didn’t make anyone aware because I had never had extensions done anywhere else so I thought the pain was Normal. Also, my extensions are now being serviced somewhere else and have been properly maintained since at another salon, without pain. I’m happy to hear you have made everyone aware not to tie them so tight. And again, appreciate the hair treatment that I received! Hoping it works well. Take care.
