Very fun experience informative staff, a little pricey for the experience.

I had a great time for my first time here. Enough to want to come back and progress. Tj was a great patient instructor. Highly recommend. If you haven't gone sky diving, it's a good taste, but would still recommend a tandem jump off a plane as well. Then come back to hone your skills.

This place was incredible! The staff were super friendly. Our main guide was amazing. He made us each feel comfortable and taught us everything we needed. My 5 and 7 yr old both went, along w myself, my husband, and my aunt and uncle. I was so nervous but had a blast! I can't tell you how much I loved our instructor. I wish I could remember his name. If I do I will edit this to make sure he is credited!! Anyway, thanks for an amazing time. You have me hooked!

iFLY Indoor Skydiving - Chicago Lincoln Park (Owner) | Jun 10, 2021

A vertical wind tunnel has fans at the top of the building to draw air through the flight chamber and then push it back down the sides through Return Air Towers. That leads to an inlet contractor that compresses & speeds up the air before it reenters the flight chamber. The result: a smooth column of air that enables you to fly.

However, total flight length depends on the package that you choose. When jumping out of an airplane, the free fall portion lasts approx. 45 seconds. If you reserve a package that contains 4 flights, you will have 4 turns in the wind tunnel with an instructor lasting 60 seconds each. Some of our packages include double-length flights which lasts double the time at a reduced cost. The entire iFLY first-time flyer experience takes approx. 1 hour and 45 minutes from start to finish.
