Amazing customer service.

Edit after company reply: The wasp nest was still there with active wasps at the end of the week. No one sprayed them or removed the nest. Placing the burden of making sure the rental home is clean on the new renter is ridiculous. They should be making sure the home is clean. They took two extra hours on check-in day away from renters for that stated purpose! I left this review a couple days after I returned home, not weeks later. This used to be a great rental management company? It no longer is. Having rented from them for over 20 years, they still ask when you pick up the key if this is your first visit to the island. I dont expect them to remember anyone, but surely their computer system could tell them about repeat renters and print it on the key packs. Asking every year really makes it look like you couldn't care less if people rent from you again or not. When we arrived, though check-in is now 4pm for "extra sanitizing" the house was not clean, and the keys from the previous renters were still on the counter (with their key packet that includes personal information). There were still crumbs on the couch, and hair on the shower wall. We reported a wasp's nest at the bottom of the stairs on Sunday. Received a call Monday morning saying they had created a work order on it. They never showed to remove it all week. We discovered that there was no hot water upstairs later in the week, but what would be the point of reporting that if they couldn't take care of a wasp's nest? Their check-out email recommends you spend your "final full day" on Friday packing up to go home so that you're not there past 10am on check-out day. It's insulting. They certainly don't use the extra two hours they've taken from renters on check-in days to clean or maintain the properties. Perhaps they've just taken on too many rentals. Service has become very bad.

This is not a good place to stay as we’re told when we arrived from our 8 hr trip the pools down then on the second night the air quit working on top of it there is tons of broken tiles in the booking and no water pressure at all

We use OIA each time we visit the island and they have always been super helpful!

I happened to have good luck with them. I have rented 4-5 times. No problems. You have to go to the website to book.
Yes
Great area for sure, I would check web for available rentals in that area.
I'm sure they do
As a former renter I'd say asap to secure your rental house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only complaint was there are no lifeguards.
Should be, it's all electronic now so you should get a code from them.
I'm sure they could find something for you. Give them a call
You can go to Margaret Rudd or Oak Island Accommodations and on the link type 6 bedrooms, pool etc ,beachfront and it will show you what is available
I would not choose a condo on the beach. We spent an entire day looking and all we found was condos with mold in the ceiling, cockroaches ( they told me those are just palmetto bugs.). We were looking at 2 bedroom condos. I would think the larger Beach houses have to be better. I don't know. Will not rent any condo around there. (We went to a couple of agencies and it was all the same)
We stayed at "Beside the Sea" with our dogs.
