I was so impressed with the service. The place was crowded and there was a 30 minute wait for food. The staff was awesome. They watched and knew the new customers that needed service. They kept a positive attitude and worked together as a team. GIVE THEM A RAISE!

What's good about George Webb is they are open 24 hours. However, the service was not lacking and the staff appeared to be irritated. The food was decent and the cook time wasn't bad.

They said to give them 10 minutes… I did… and more… I never got my BEC; I had to walk out to make it to work on time. A shame, really. I hope they put my $7.50 to good use.

I wanted to try George Webb for the first time. Heard their burgers are good. Upon approach, I smell the telltale odor of losers- marijuana smoke. I see an employee in the entryway, clearly the source of said marijuana smoke, wearing the George Webb apron. I approach and ask if they’re open. He seems out on the spot & confused, and says he is locked out & is trying to call another employee to let him in. I said “well in that case you’re closed” & begin walking away. As I do I hear him talking trash- to include something to the effect of “I would have beat your a$$…”. And I can’t help but feel he had some racial hatred, as he was black, & I am not. I would describe him as a younger, effeminate black male with short bright yellow hair. Congratulations young man- you have turned me off of George Webb forever.

In May 1948, George Webb opened the first "George Webb and Sons" lunch counter on the corner of Ogden and Van Buren Streets on the east side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It began as a family business, with George, his wife Evelyn, and their three sons, Jim, Tom and Bob, all performing various tasks in the restaurant. In 1953, Jim Webb became the first George Webb franchise owner, when it was suggested by his father that he take over one of the restaurants. In 1957, not long after the business was passed on to his son, George Webb died. Jim Webb took over the management of the company, serving as president during a period of strong growth from the 1960s through the 1980s. In 1985, Jim Webb sold the now thriving chain to Dave Stamm, who had been a franchisee with the company for over 30 years.
