Beautiful park. Kind of steep. Great camping for those that want to be alone. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The staff was very nice pleasant to talk to.

Nice camping grounds. Spots are a bit closer together than we prefer but overall nice area

First rate state park for camping. There are some hiking trails. I did not have time to give them a look. Also, I think the Blair Witch was on the trail behind my campsite.

A great place to go walking and enjoy the scenery. Spent about 2 hours here just hiking on the multiple trails. The lake is also a good spot to kayak on or to have a picnic.

Yes
The town pump located on 61 has really good king crawlers.
Its a small park with limited trails and the lakeside trail is closed still, as of last week. They are re-routing the trails with a prospective finish date of the first part of June.
No boat or kayak rentals bring your own, you have to rent cabin or camp spot on line office is closed. I don't work there so i have no idea what days are they have open, hope this helps
Not at Mt. Gilead at this time. But you can at Alum Creek about 30 minutes away.
Yes, you can fish off the shore and there's a fishing spot by the parking lot, too.

Camping is open. The restrooms and showers are open as well as the dumpsters. They are doing a great job keeping them clean.
No
I'm not sure I don't fish but I do know that they drained the like for over a year to reconstruct the dams. They just refilled it and I believe they have also stocked it. No camping at this time because they are reconstructing the camp sites
Dont know about blankets
Yes. The lower dam it's complete, the lake is open and all of the grass is in, it looks great! They are adding another pedestrian bridge over the upper dam to connect the trails to the camp area which will take place August/September and may involve lowering the lake level a few feet during construction. The state should restock the fish in the spring of 2019, the deeper water should help a bunch for the trout
Pretty sure you can kayak and they used to have paddle boat before the renovation took place so they still might. I would call them up and make sure!
Yes must have a license everywhere in ohio besides private property with permission
I posted several pictures of their cabins in google photos. Just scroll through. I stsyed there last summer and loved it. They have tv's in the cabins. Sleeping is a bunk bed and a queen bed.
County is refilled, stocked with gamefish and open to visitors following construction completion of a new dam, spillway and other related improvements. The refilled lake received a stocking of largemouth bass, channel catfish, sunfish and bluegills in early May, which will provide a continually growing sport fishery. That was posted 6/11/2018
The rosds are paved and some of the slots near the front are concrete. The rest have some gravel in them and might be slightly unlevel. As stated above check your length, only a fee spots will take the longer campers.
You would have to call them. Different prices
its $34 a night
I would call them, they should be able to tell you exact times.
Yes! Hours worth! Much fun! I hiked for hours with my family, we all LOVED it, and had TONS of fun!! Great memories ❤
Some were diverted and pushed downstream, some were relocated, and some were collateral damage.
