Can I string up a hammock and have a fire or is it not that kind of overnight hiking?

Its a small park with limited trails and the lakeside trail is closed still, as of last week. They are re-routing the trails with a prospective finish date of the first part of June.

I don't see why not. If your camping who says you need a camper or a tent right

Susan Welch | Dec 7, 2018

You will need a camp to and fires are only allowed where designated. Our Park is still under construction due to a new dam project. The Lake has not fully recovered and has not been restock, yet.

All campsites have fire rings. I would call about a hammock. I my thoughts though..you can't hurt the trees with any hardware.

You might want to call if you're renting a camp site i think your ok but im pretty sure that fires are only allowed in designated areas
